Ash Patel
Founder and Managing Principal
Ash Patel founded Patel's Consulting Partners with a clear focus of helping real estate sponsors navigate the complexities of debt and equity financing, joint venture structuring, and institutional capital partnerships across Canada and the United States.
With over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, he brings deep expertise in institutional joint venture structuring, programmatic deal design, financial modeling, waterfall and promote structures, due diligence, risk analysis, and sponsor-side project advisory. His work centers on advising sponsors through programmatic and institutional joint venture formations, institutional credit advisory, and the design of capital structures that align with both sponsor objectives and institutional partner requirements.
Prior to founding the firm, he held progressive roles in capital advisory and consulting, where he focused on the syndication and structuring of debt, equity and joint venture financing for real estate projects across global markets.
He leads the firm's advisory practice and works directly with clients on every engagement.
